Is it possible to alter this website?

I find it technically a bit confusing, where to find desired information. Too much menubuttons. Maybe Icons would help to organize the subcategories a bit. The header takes up too much of the screen which doesn't make us of the whole browser window on a computer with a 21'' screen.

I also miss a good old print-button for the forum and tutorials. Are there better templates?

Hello,

Could you be more precise and suggest a different organisation? It is true that the current one is not perfect, but it is not easy to improve it. We have some ideas but did not get the time to implement them yet.

For the printing, you can use the print option of your browser.

For the icons, do not forget about the copyrights. These which are often violated on web sites, but we do respect them.

Hi

There are some redundancies with aseba programming language and thymio-category.

I mainly found this page I often consult confusing, it would help to have a small icons (they are often creative commons: cc), cause the names are vague at times and it contains many links:
Programming Thymio with Aseba

The template is not so great. It uses very little of my monitor, and there is no possibility to print without having the menu on the print.

Hello,

We are aware of the redundancies. There are actually different entry points to this website. One for those interested in Aseba itself, and one for the thymio users. The idea of the page you mention is to give links to all the programming information for thymio users. I am planning the edit this page to make it clearer; but basically the redundancy will remain.

Some pages give general information about Aseba programming language, the interface and the Thymio API…
The step by step tutorials give mostly the same information, but presented with progressive examples.
then there are links to examples.

I like your idea of using icons. If you have precise suggestions how to reorganize this page, I'll be glad to read them. I'll be working on this page so your input will be very helpful!

Hello,

Maybe the Goodies like "Sound Library" and "Cheat Sheet" can go under a seperate category with an icon. You could also join all "Tutorials" under such a category.

"Programming interface for Thymio II" wasn't clear when I read its title as a non-programmer. How about "integrated functions and varibables"?

I like your idea of progressive examples.

Hello again,

I changed the page to make categories and explain better. I didn't add icons yet, but it gives an idea of what it would look like. There are also 2 code samples that i would like to enhance with detailed explanations. Afterwards, other explained code samples could be added (progressive examples).

What do you think of this new layout?
