I would like to translate the messages of Aseba in Italian. Could someone provide me just the file(s) containing the strings to be translated?
I have seen from the spanish translation topic that it is needed to use QT linguist. Do you suggest some instruction document to read?

For the strings that are written like this:
&Search
I assume that &S is the keyboard shortcut.
In the translation we must keep it like this:
(&S) Ricerca
or if we write:
&Ricerca
The GUI will automatically interpret $R as the new keyboard shortcut for the same command?

Yes it is the keyboard shortcut. You are free to change it following the language, to avoid cumbersome menu entries. Please take care that the shortcuts are not conflicting within a single menu entry.

I quickly tried Studio in Italian, and it works but some entries are strange. Some have a capital letter not related to the entry (maybe because you want to use the same shortcut as in English?), and one (Local Tools) has a lot of "i" in it. Could you have a look to make sure this is what you want?

Sorry, regarding the "i" It was a mistake that I was not able to intercept when I double checked the file.
Now I have fixed it.
Regarding the shortcut, my initial idea was to maintain exactly the same shortcut used for the English but in some cases it was not possible. Now I have modified the shortcuts in a more aesthetically acceptable way.

The offline help update is waiting a correction (see my email on the aseba-dev mailing list). Beside this, the latest version in git and the pre-compiled Windows version have the Italian translation of the programs in.
I imagine that with "User manual" you mean all the wiki pages starting from the Aseba menu item "User Manual". I don’t think so. I will check and may be also go ahead with this translation.
