Thymio Studio Keeps Shutting down Unexpectedly

Thymio Studio Keeps Shutting down Unexpectedly. I believe it has to do with the power that Thymio is drawing from my Mac laptop. Thymio keeps disconnecting and sometimes the Mac actively shuts down the port with a warning that it is because Thymio is drawing too much power. Today I did not receive that warning but received a message that Studio shut down unexpectedly, and it would happen repeatedly.

This is strange because normally Thymio II is following strictly USB power rules.
It is possible that the cable it damaged. I suggest to try with another cable; all normal micro USB cable are fine.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try a new cable and see how that works out.
