Thymio wireless +PYthon on Mac

Hi,
I have just received my wireless Thymio just before Christmas and started playing with it. It works perfectly but I am wondering it if is possible to write a control program on my MacBook Pro (the one I am using with Aseba Studio)? Ideally I would like to communicate through the dongle..
I am wondering if it is supported and in case if there is an information on the set-up required (asebaswitch or similar).

It is possible through DBus if the later is installed. To have a DBus-enabled version, you need to compile Aseba from source on your Mac. Alternatively, you can just use the http interface provided by asebahttp (or asebahttp2 which will be available in the OS X nightly build in the coming hours).

Hi Stephane,
many thanks for your answer. Let me see if I understood correctly. First of all I need to install DBus on my Mac (if it is not already installed..). Next step is use asebahttp2 : the nightly build is in the Git repository? (which is actual path)?

I have version 1.4 installed right now. Does the program automatically remove and install the new version?

If you do not change the installation folder, the program will be installed in /Applications and overwrite the previous version.
