Thymio connected, launch Aseba VPL, loads for a second or so and then crashes.

Aseba VPL crashing on Mac OS X 10.8.6

Hi all,

I'm working with a person that has an old Mac running OS X 10.8.6. This person downloaded 1.6.1 (and also 1.6.0) and after installing it, connecting the Thymio, and running Aseba VPL, the program just loads for a split second showing the GUI, and then crashes.

I cannot describe more the issue because I do not currently have this person's Mac here right now, maybe somebody knows how to deal with such issue.

Hi,

without more details it is kind of hard to know what is going on; do you know if they tried an older version too? 1.5.5 for example? Did they ever have a version that was working? Do you know if other Aseba programs like Aseba Playground work?
