I click connect button but nothing happens.

Cannot connect on Windows

So, I have installed the newest stable version of Aseba and I could not connect to the robot, so I have downloaded the latest Nightly build and then the connection occurs once in 20 tries (If I am lucky) and it is really getting on my nerves. So, I have installed the program and the driver and my thymio II is nicely recognized in device manager, but when I start Aseba and i click connect, the windows just flashes and nothing happens. Here is the image of the window: [[C:\Users\Ljubinko Kevac\Desktop\Connect.jpg]]. I tried running only VPL and i get this message: [[C:\Users\Ljubinko Kevac\Desktop\Connect2.jpg]]. I would appreciate some help. Thanks

The problem was with windows firewall, just add your aseba programs to trusted for firewall

The problem is back, it was not the firewall, it is still "working some" - "not working some" :)

Hi,
To possible problems: - the cable is defect, try another one if you have
- there is someting in your computer that opens sometimes the COMx port to check what is there. At this moment you cannot connect to your THymio if the port is already open.
- you can also try to uplug the Thymio and use the "restart USB" tools in "Aseba_Studio->Tools"
