						 <p>Hi Tibor,</p> <p>I think the problem is the filesystem you are using: It <strong>must</strong> be a (simple) FAT(32) file system, all others will not work. Usually most USB sticks are sold preformatted with a FAT32 system.</p> <p>Basil</p>

						 <p>I have tried to make some custom sounds with the instructions over here: <a href="https://www.thymio.org/en:thymioapi">https://www.thymio.org/en:thymioapi</a>.</p> <p>I have tried</p> <ul> <li>naming one of them as S0.wav, did not hear it at startup</li> <li>renaming my files with small and large p at the beginning (P5.wav + p5.wav)</li> <li>tried using other sound libraries contributed by other users</li> <li>upgrading the firmware to the latest version</li> <li>formatting the USB stick with exFAT instead of mac journaled</li> </ul> <p>It still does not appear to be working.</p> <p>I started with the code Thymio music instrument code <a href="https://www.thymio.org/en:thymiomusic">https://www.thymio.org/en:thymiomusic</a> and then further simplified it for debugging:</p> <div class="code"> <pre><code>onevent button.forward call sound.play(0)</code></pre></div> <p>No luck. Please help.</p>
