We're trying to install Aseba 1.6.1 Software via GPO/software rollout through our Win16 server. But we're running into troubles with the required drivers. The silent install fails because of the non validated signature of the driver. Even adding the signature cert as trustworthy did not solve the problem. There is still a dialog that needs to be confirmed with administrative rights.

There is a screenshot, but it is in german.

Any hints? Is smb rolling out the software in the same way?

I like to do the pairing procedure. But the dongle and the robot doesn't flash at the same frequency. The robot is on the configuration mode and I select the light purple mode. I waited for several hours, they don't flash at the same frequency. They are very close, so that isn't the problem. In the network configurator I changed just the channel from 1 to channel 2, nothing more. Of course in this state I can't start the vpl program, because the dongle and the robot doesn't work together. If I use the robot by USB cable, the vpl program start and there is a connection between laptop and robot and I can program it. Without the cable nothing happens.

What is the problem?

One of our Thymio micro USB connector seems to be broken
Is there a guide available to show how to repair it without breaking further parts?? I only have a cheap solder iron at hand. will that be good enough?

How often do they break while using in a school environment?
