On the market there are do-it-yourself/handiwork kits called fuzzoodles:
These kits contain flexible fur-covered stalks of various lengths, with plastic accessories to make eyes, arms or mouths, for example.
Using this material and accessories, Thymio II can be decorated in very amusing ways:

or
How can this be done? After several attempts, one has to say that it is not very obvious and some practice is needed to manage to make a structure that holds together. In particular there are several tricks that can be learnt. Here are explanations about how to make a basic construction. We will aim for this setup:
If one looks behind the face one can already see how the structure is fixed: laterally underneath the robot and at the rear in the pen orifice.
For this structure two long fur stalks (there are long and short ones), the eyes and the nose are used. Eye and nose have a hook at the back with which they can be hooked to the stalks. It is easy to vary the stalk colour and shape the eyes and nose.
As a start the eyes are fixed to a horizontal stalk, placed behind a second stalk shaped like a V. This provides a basic structure which holds together becaused the V-stalk is squeezed between the eyes and the horizontal stalk:
By bending the horizontal stalk it can be made to again pass behind the V-stalk and be fixed with the nose hook. If a more robust structure is wanted one can start by rolling the stalk around the eyes before bending it behind the nose.
This is done for the two sides, creating a circle with the horizontal stalk which forms a sort of face:
Next the tops of the vertical stalks can be pushed into the pen orifice of Thymio II:
Then the structure is bent forward:
The two ends of the horizontal stalks are fixed in the screw holes underneath the robot.
The whole structure is adjusted to obtain the desired form:
Many other structures are possible with the same technique. If you make any, add your photos here!!!!!
